We got a great full day’s work on the horizontal stabilizer today getting the whole skeleton riveted in place. Sadly, we went to lunch in the middle of the day, shortly after starting, and I turned of the surveillance cameras while we were out and forgot to turn them back on when we returned for the rest of the assembly. I could have just left them on as they only take snapshots when triggered by motion anyway.

We finished off page 8-12 and most of page 8-13, leaving only the rear spar to be riveted in place. I wanted to take a breather before closing up the horizontal stabilizer with the rear spar because once that is in place there is no “going back” without having to drill out a LOT of rivets.
