Page 10-20 of the RV-10 empennage assembly manual begins with step 1, reassembly of the tailcone after priming, ready for riveting. I had begun this process the previous work session and somewhat limited as to what I could do on my own as once the basic frame, side and bottom skins were clecoed together riveting was the next step and while it is possible to do some of the riveting solo it isn’t the best idea.
Here are some snapshots of reassembling the tailcone.
I did not want to do any serious riveting on my own so rather than starting the riveting process I turned to page 10-21 step 1 and worked on riveting the nutplates to the F-1037B & C bellcrank rib angles and then riveting the bellcrank rib angles to the left and right F-1029 bellcrank ribs. I did not actually get the riveting done, just assembled with clecos ready to rivet.
