Well, we ran out of silver cleco fasteners so picked up the elevator section and started by stripping the vinyl, deburring the edges and holes of the E-1002 front spars and trimming the E-1008 ribs into left and right sections, then deburring the sections and the E-910 plate doublers.
After attaching the doublers to the E-1002 spars and then re-assembling the E-1008 L & R rib sections we ran into the problem again of not having enough silver 3/32 cleco fasteners so we quit for the day and will wait for the additional 200 cleco fasteners to arrive.
Most likely at that point I will start with closing up the rudder. I don’t want to get to where I have too many sections partly assembled lying around.
